New Features: Survey Updates
Sometimes we get so busy delivering new value that we forget to let you know what we’ve been up to!
We recently released several new features that we think you’ll appreciate.
Multi-line Survey Prefill
The first is one that we think many of you will want to take advantage of on your surveys. And that is the ability to prefill answers to survey questions with longer form content into multi-line survey fields.
In the past, you could only import content into single-line survey fields. For example, profile information like name or email address. Now you can import things like sample thank you responses, courses taught, research descriptions, awards, etc. and allow your respondents to edit that content. You can also merge it onto the survey in an uneditable form if you don’t want them to edit the content.
Multi-line Survey Content Formatting
As part of enabling multi-line survey prefill, we also created an option that allows you to enable a formatting toolbar on your survey multi-line fields. With the option enabled, survey respondents have the option of applying basic formatting to their responses.
Survey Homepage
More and more of our customers are now using either the multi-response option on surveys or including the same individuals on multiple surveys at the same time. When a survey respondent needs to submit multiple responses—whether that’s for the same survey or multiple surveys—it can be easy to miss one or get distracted and not submit all of them. Not to mention the administrative work to follow up and ensure all responses are submitted.
With that in mind, we’ve updated and enhanced the Survey Homepage to better organize all the survey responses that any individual has open and also to make it more clear the status of each of their responses. You can tailor the name of each response using the Survey Response Options so that your respondents can best understand what each response is about.
