New Feature: Integrated Image Editing
We’re excited to announce a new Mythos feature–Integrated Image Editing.
As always, please let us know if you have any questions!
About Image Editing
You now have the ability to make a few essential edits to any image that is attached to a Mythos story.
This is useful, of course, since often times photos received through surveys aren’t exactly the size you might need or aren’t cropped to really show the content that you want to highlight. With this feature, you have the ability to rotate and crop images.
To use this feature, simply click to the Media tab on a Story, click on the image you want to edit, and then click the pencil icon on the left side of the image box to enable the editing options as shown in the screenshot below.
After you’ve clicked to enable the editing options, you’ll see the following icons as shown in the following screenshot:
- Save
- Zoom in
- Zoom out
- Rotate left
- Rotate right
- Crop
Clicking on the Crop icon displays a bounding box that you can resize as needed to capture the content and aspect ratio you need as shown below.
Once you’ve sized the crop box to the size you need, simply click the check mark on the left toolbar of the image box. Then you can save your edited version with a new filename. This way if you need the original image, it’s still attached to the story.
